DG Charging Terms & Conditions
1. Online Installation Quote – Terms and Conditions
These terms apply specifically to the instant price provided through our online quote tool:
Conditional Pricing
- The price you receive is an estimate based on the details you provide.
- The quote is only valid if all information submitted is accurate and complete.
- If the installation conditions differ upon site visit or during works (e.g., longer cable runs, non-standard mounting, inaccessible meter, inadequate earthing, etc.), the final cost may be adjusted accordingly.
Site Survey Requirement
- All online quotes are subject to final confirmation following either:
- A remote survey (photos and details you submit)
- Or a physical site survey if required.
Unforeseen Issues
- DG Charging reserves the right to amend pricing due to unforeseen issues that only become apparent at or after installation begins, such as:
- Ground conditions, building fabric challenges
- Faulty or unsafe consumer units
- Changes to regulations or compliance requirements
DNO Approval
- Some EV charger installations require approval from your local Distribution Network Operator (DNO).
- This approval process is outside of DG Charging’s control and may delay or prevent your installation.
- Where DNO approval is required, the quote remains provisional until written confirmation is received from the DNO.

I. DNO Notifications and Approval
- DG Charging will handle DNO applications on behalf of the customer as part of the service.
- For chargers rated below 13.8kW, a DNO notification is submitted after installation.
- For chargers 13.8kW or above, pre-approval from the DNO is mandatory before work can begin.
